Every spring semester Butler holds a show for student work. Every student enrolled in an art class in their current semester and from the past fall semester are required to submit two of their best works from each art class. This year the work was judged and curated by Derek Wilkinson who is a professor at Emporia State University. I have taken five art classes this year, so I submitted 10 pieces from class, and scholarship work from the previous show was also left in to be judged. In total I had twelve pieces that were submitted for judging and eleven made it through to the show.
